A 17th season; wow!! Who would have ever imagined that a small manufacturing company who specializes in simple, durable, ultralight and light weight backpacking gear would still be churning out product made here in Georgia, just outside of metro Atlanta. Well, enough rambling; here's what's new and improved for 2007.

FASTREK 1 TENT/TARP

I design this shelter with the person who needs options, not weight in mind. This 2lb.,14oz. totally inclosed shelter has a body made of 1.3oz sil-nylon with a fully zippered sil-nylon and a fully zippered mesh door, has a 54 inch peak (tall enough to sit up in with your back straight), a with 42 sq ft floor area (big enough for two to sleep. The floor is only attached to the rear giving you the abilty lay the body/floor out to have a 11' x 10' tarp to hang over a hammock or to have a covered, protected area to enjoy that prefect camp site in the open air. Comes with 9 stakes, 2 aluminum poles, and stuff sack. For the ounce mizers, leave the poles at home and use your trekking poles (without poles wt 31oz.).

1.9oz Urethane Coated Ripstop Packcovers

These packcovers are designed to compliment our popular seamless sil-nylon packcover line and to meet a safety need in the industry. The reason the backpackers love our packcovers is because ours are designed to actually fit your packs with sleeping pads attached to the outside of the pack as well as your sandals other items. Blaze Orange during hunting season and wilderness trekking could be a life saver. We've supplied orange sil-nylon now for three years to retailers and will be offering a more durable 1.9oz urethane coated ripstop, seamless pack cover for those who need a more durable packcover. Sizes available: small2500-3500ci), medium (3500-4500ci), and large(4500-5800ci). Colors: Blaze Orange and Forest Green.
